You will step into a specialist assignment within the energy sector where an existing 24–40 kV receiving station for wind power is to be expanded for connection to a 10 kV local grid. In this expansion, it is crucial to understand how voltage variations affect the grid and how they can be mitigated through a 24–10 kV transformer.

You will contribute with analysis and technical advice that helps the business make the right decisions for continued grid expansion. The focus is on creating a robust basis that makes it possible to expand the grid while maintaining high operational and delivery security. This is an interesting assignment for you who want to use your specialist competence in a concrete grid expansion where your recommendations have direct significance for a socially important energy system.

• You analyze and investigate voltage variations in the power grid related to the expansion of the receiving station.
• You assess how voltage variations can be mitigated through a 24–10 kV transformer in connection with the connection to the 10 kV local grid.
• You develop technical recommendations regarding what measures are needed to enable continued grid expansion.
• You contribute with documentation that supports decisions with a focus on high operational and delivery security.
• You use experience from previous projects, work, or education to translate theory into practically feasible solutions.

• You have documented understanding of voltage variations in the power grid, verified through reference projects, work, or education.
• You have the technical competence to advise on what measures are needed for continued grid expansion while managing the extent of voltage variations.
• You have experience that can be verified through reference projects, work, or education within the relevant field.
• Ability to undergo and pass a security clearance (requires Swedish citizenship; dual citizenship is not accepted).
